Summer 2026/27 Junior Metro Season Trials

Expressions of Interest Now Open

Drummoyne Water Polo Club is excited to welcome new players to our 2026/27 Junior Summer Metro Season Trials.

If you child is looking to try water polo with Drummoyne for the first time, we would love to see them at trials. Our Junior Program coaches will lead the selection process, providing players with the opportunity to showcase their skills and be considered for one of our summer competition teams.

For families who are new to the sport, water polo is played year-round, with the summer season running from September through to April. Players compete in age groups based on their year of birth, rather than their age on a particular date.

• Swimwear
• Goggles
• Water bottle
• Water polo ball (if you have one)

Important Information

• There is no cost to attend the trials.
• Pool entry fees are payable separately (Fitness passport accepted at Drummoyne swim centre)
• Attendance at all trial sessions is encouraged to support the selection process.
• If your child is unable to attend a trial, please let us know so selectors can be informed.
• Submitting an Expression of Interest assists us with planning and team nominations, but does not guarantee selection in a team.
• All players will be required to complete swim tests for each age group as part of the trial process.

All players will be advised of their outcome following the trials, with squads to be announced by Friday 25 September.
