A fun and supportive pathway for young athletes to develop their water polo skills.

Flippaball (Years 3-4)

4:30pm-5:30pm (Deep End)

An introduction to water polo focused on:

• Water confidence
• Fundamental skills
• Teamwork and game basics

Perfect for children in Years 3-4 who are new to the sport.

Skills & Competition (Years 5-7 / U13)

5:30pm-7:00pm

A combination of skill development and game play, including:

• Warm-ups and skill progression
• Structured competition
• A welcoming environment for new and experienced players

Suitable for Junior Metro players, Flippaball graduates and newcomers to water polo.

Program Details

• Term Fee: $180.00 (including payment processing fees)
• WPNSW/WPA Annual Registration: $30.33 (including payment processing fees). Paid once annually, resets each September.
• Program Dates: 16 October - 11 December
• Duration: 9 weeks

• BBQ for players
• Clubhouse open for parents and friends
• Relax, socialise, and enjoy views over the pool and bay while the kid’s train
  

Registration

All participants must be registered with Drummoyne Water Polo Club before joining the program.

Step 1: Club Membership 
Register as a member and select the DWPC Summer 2026-27 JDP Member membership type. Existing Summer Metro Juniors can skip this step.
